World Health Day 2022

On World Health Day, we are looking at ways Harbison is protecting our planet and the well-being of our little community:

• Solar panels have been installed at both sites as a renewable energy source and we are conscious of our utilities consumption
• Centralised stores and an on-site compactor means we can minimise deliveries/reduce the use of vehicles
• We choose to be a non-smoking organisation
• We use eco-friendly and safe chemicals
• Rainwater tanks have been installed and used for our bathrooms and gardens
• We participate in bottle recycling, with proceeds going to resident activities
• We compost and our gardens support bees and other insects
